Registration of vehicles or equipment legally imported from abroad. They are registered as temporary numbers in the provincial traffic departments and are given the number of the province where they are registered. The annuity granted to each vehicle is valid for five (5) years, after which it must be renewed.

Any Iraqi national or resident reached the legal age is eligible for obtaining a driving licence. The licence is valid for 5 years and must be renewed after its expiry.

This service is to support the citizens/residents to renew their expired drivers licences in order to drive legally.

Any foreign nationals visiting Kurdistan Region of Iraq is eligible for obtaining a Temporary Driving License. This license is valid for one year only.

Issuance and renewal of residency cards for foreigners working in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) agencies. This card is valid for six months or one year and can be renewed after that period.

Any foreigner who officially visits the Kurdistan Region through the border points or international airports is initially issued a visa for a period of thirty (30) days Officially have the right to stay in the Kurdistan Region
But If the foreigner wishes to stay in the Kurdistan Region for longer than this period, he/she must apply for a visa extension in order to be officially entitled to stay in the Kurdistan Region.

Issuance of residency cards to foreigners who come to the Kurdistan Region through residency and visa companies. After receiving a visit visa, they can apply for a residency card to stay in the Kurdistan Region. This card is valid for six months or one year.

Issuance of residency cards is for spouses (husband and wife) who are one Iraqi and the other foreign.

Issuance of residency cards to foreigners brought to the Kurdistan Region through foreign labor companies, working as domestic servants, this residency card is renewed for six months or one year after that period.
